LWAA Pop Warner Football and
Registration Requirements When Registering, you must complete the following forms. Please print them out, fill out neatly and bring with you to registration (note- Medical Release requires Doctors' signature). We will also need to see a copy of a birth certificate AND a report card from the end of the 2008-2009 school year prior to first practice.
We are planning on teams for boys and girls on Midget, Jr. Midget, Pee Wee, Jr Pee Wee, Mitey Mite Football Teams and Cheer Squads. Email for up to date info
And unlike other programs- the uniforms the girls buy, the girls keep! They can trade in at "trade in" days in following years. There are 2 sets of requirements to play Pop Warner Football. A child must fit into an age/weight category, and all players and cheerleaders must maintain a D average or better in school. See below for football and cheer divisions. Highlighted Divisions are what we are likely to have. Children will have most success playing in lowest division possible. Refunds will only be issued should we not be able to field a team at a particular level, or in a few other instances. Requests may be made by emailing board@lwsports.org and stating child's name, and reason for request.
*The asterisked (*) provisions in each division are for those leagues/associations that carry “older but lighter” football players. The age of the spirit participant may match the age of the football players in that same division. (i.e., if the league permits a football player to be a 13 year old, older-lighter junior midget, then the spirit squad may also sign-up a 13 year old participant on the corresponding cheer/dance squad.) The spirit participant is matched in age only, weights do not apply.
