LWAA is an all volunteer athletic organization whose mission is to nurture the physical, social and emotional growth and development of our community’s youth through sports at all levels of age and talent. We stress fun, skill development and fundamentals. LWAA and its volunteers strive to maintain an environment that exemplifies the core values of integrity, leadership, devotion, respect and teamwork while enhancing self-esteem, promoting self-confidence and cultivating a passion for the game. Winning is secondary to these priorities. We are community-based and our choices and strengths are guided by the diverse interests of our community members. We honor the game(s), and we show respect for the rules, opponents, officials and teammates. We believe sports should be of great pleasure, and our goal is to provide an enjoyable experience for all players, coaches, and families in a fun and safe environment on and off the fields and courts. It is understood that we can achieve these goals only through the combined efforts of our volunteers, coaches, families and players.
