Dear LWAA Cheer Family,
We are excited to announce that the 2025 Fall/Winter Cheer Season is underway — and registration is now open!
Our goal is to inspire team spirit, creativity, and fun while providing a positive structure for both individual and team growth.
📌 Season Details
Teams: Athletes will be grouped by skill level and age. We’ll do our best to honor friend/coach requests, but they cannot be guaranteed.
Cost: $90 (includes game uniform, pom-poms, and bow)
Season: Fall/Winter (exact dates subject to change)
🏟 Practices
Location: Dogwood Lane Children’s Academy Gym
103 Hamiltons Ferry Rd, Lake Wylie, SC 29710
Schedule: Practices will be held once a week on Wednesdays or Fridays (depending on coach needs and holiday schedule).
Practice Dates:
Week 1: 10/22 & 10/24
Week 2: 10/29 (all teams practice Wednesday due to Halloween 🎃)
Week 3: 11/5 & 11/7
Week 4: 11/12 & 11/14
Week 5: 11/19 & 11/21
🚫 No practices the week of Thanksgiving.
➡️ Please let us know if Wednesdays or Fridays do not work for your family — we will take this into consideration when assigning teams.
⚠️ Important: For safety and space reasons, practice space will be closed to parents and guests. Only volunteers and LWAA cheerleaders are permitted inside.
📣 What to Expect

5 weeks of practice + 4 scheduled games + Showcase (all teams) + Basketball Championship participation
Game Day Info:
Teams warm up 15 minutes before the game
Cheer during halftime
Dismissal after halftime
Game assignments will be made by age group (basketball schedule to be shared once finalized).
